Easy at-home recipe for anytime but even better when you're trying to impress someone special...if you know what I mean!
First, keep it simple. Nothing ruins an expensive cut of beef tenderloin more than over-spicing or over-marinating does. Let the flavor of the beef shine through and enhance the flavors with mild seasoning like this dijon, thyme and pepper blend. Secondly, don't over-cook it, make sure you use an internal temperature gauge and take it off the BBQ at 125F for Rare or 140F for Medium. Enjoy this mild dijon-thyme-peppercorn beef tenderloin recipe at your next formal dinner.

It's also a perfect marinade for grilled shrimp! I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but I didn't have much to lose (other than a pound of shrimp). Turns out the junipery flavor of gin matches perfectly with the zesty sweet orange flavor of the marmalade. I added some crushed red pepper flakes just because and this turned out remarkably well. Its a real easy grilled shrimp recipe side dish for steak and chicken and takes no time to cook. If I ever get asked to cook for the Royal Family this will definately be on the menu.

Sautee mushrooms in butter then add Marsala cooking wine (or regular red wine) until reduced. Add some balsamic vinegar until reduced. These are incredible - I've had people eating them right out of the pan as I'm cooking them - they're just like candy!
And they go great with grilled steak too!

Healthy eating just got a little healthier - no more deep frying - here's an easy sweet potato fries recipe for your BBQ (or oven). These are quick and easy to make and you control the flavor.
Apples and Pork go together like horse and carriage and the true marriage happens when you marinate the pork tenderloin medallions in our brand new Apple BBQ sauce recipe. Great recipe as some parts of the world are heading into Autumn and apples are fresh, make your own apple sauce for the BBQ sauce marinade and enjoy the fall colors while you're grilling. Luckily, beer still goes great with these as you tend the BBQ.

New Lemon Grilled Haddock Recipe hot off the Q. Combine the juice of real fresh squeezed lemons, olive oil, garlic and oregano and you've got a powerful 30-minute marinade for that lovely piece of Haddock you're picking up on the way home tonight. 6 to 8 minutes on the grill is all it took me last night and this fish was ready. It definitely kept the lemon/garlic/oregano flavors and was perfect served with store-bought Tzatziki sauce. Serve it up with the new Sweet Potato Fries and you've a perfect Friday Fish Dinner.
simple recipe, authentic flavor. If you enjoy the tastes of India, especially the tandoori flavor then you'll appreciate this recipe. While it's very easy to make and has a very short 2 hour marinating time the spice combination pack the chicken with a very authentic tandoori flavor. Great for weeknights. Even better if you're getting bored of the same old chicken every week. Last time I made this I also made the sweet potato fries recipe linked on the same page - nice combo.

Not keen on dryed out old beef kabobs? Me neither. Main trick to make sure you're not eating boot leather next time is to grill them at least 500F and take them off no later then 135F internal temp (you do have an instant read thermometer, right?) Remove then about 135F and you've got medium which should please the majority of people. The other feature of this recipe is the deep rich flavors of the burgundy wine marinade blend. Nice smooth subtle flavors that work perfectly with the red onion and green pepper. This is definitely a step above the plain jane beef kabob's you'll buy in the grocery store butcher shop. I also tried my new FireWire flexible wire shish kabob skewers - nice.

Grilled on your BBQ's rotisserie the secret to a tender juicy bird every time is the overnight salt brine. I've used this for several years and it's never failed me. The brine recipe is from Alton Brown at FoodNetwork.com and once you try it you'll never go back. I practiced last weekend on this BBQ turkey in advance of Thanksgiving and the flavor is amazing - I'll never do turkey any other way.

Not just for breakfast anymore - inexpensive back bacon from pork loin - this is great sliced and grilled. Getting to be very popular at concessions and usually being served on a bun. I've also been using it on the Great Canadian burger also on the site. Hey, it's something different.
No low&slow enjoy these ribs anytime - robust asian Teriyaki flavors make these ribs stand out from the traditional flavored ribs. I do love the standard Kansas BBQ flavored ribs or even the Memphis dry rub style but sometimes it's nice just to try something different - these Teriyaki ribs are very easy to put together and pretty quick to grill so you can even make them on a regular weeknight instead of waiting for a long cook on the weekend.
Best ever Twice Baked potatoes with roasted garlic and creamy goats cheese - load 'em up with crispy crumbled bacon, green onions and lot's of shredded cheese. Welcome to the comfort zone...you may never want to leave!
Buffalo style pork chops stuffed with Monterey Jack cheese. Simple recipe makes it quick and easy for any weeknight. I try to choose rib chops that are at least 1" thick - if I can't find that I'll buy a pork rib roast and cut my own chops. The Franks Red Hot sauce is perfect with pork and the spicy cheese stuffing that oozes out when you cut into the chop.
Made with Alberta beef and topped with grilled Canadian peameal backbacon and real cheddar cheese eh! It all sticks together with a little pure maple syrup - the secret ingredient. Wash it all down with an ice cold pint of your favorite Molsons or Labatt's.
