If you love the flavor combination of Lemon & Garlic then you'll really love these grilled shrimp kabobs, they're loaded with pure intense flavor.
It's best if you use the juice and the zest from fresh lemons to make sure the natural flavor really comes through.
Tip, these grilled shrimp don't take very long on a hot grill, about 5 or 6 minutes, so be careful not to overcook them or they may dry out.
If possible use freshly chopped garlic instead of powder, it really makes a huge flavor difference.
If you really want to make a show then the larger 8-12 or 16-20 shrimp are perfect for these skewers. The numbers mean how many shrimp per pound.
Finally, these kabobs get another little zip from crushed red pepper flakes and a little worchestershire sauce, as if they needed any more flavor.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 6 minutes
Direct Heat: 575F - 600F
Note: for best results marinate 1 - 2 hours
What you'll need:
For the marinade:
Step 1:
Thread 3 peeled, deveined Jumbo shrimp on a 6" skewer.
Repeat this for a total of 4 kabobs (12 shrimp total).
In a glass jar or dish mix together the marinade ingredients well.
Make sure the oil and lemon juice blend well.
Place the kabobs in a shallow glass dish and pour the marinade over the skewers.
Step 2:
Flip the kabobs over several times in the marinade to completely coat them.
Spoon the marinade mixture over the shrimp so the lemon zest, peppers and garlic is soaking in on both sides of the shrimp.
Cover and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours.
Step 3:
Clean and oil the BBQ grates well.
Preheat the grill to high, 575F - 600F or higher if you can.
When the grill has reached temperature place the shrimp kabobs on the grill and close the lid.
After 3 minutes check on the kabobs, with a pair of tongs wiggle the skewers to loosen them from the grates.
If they're turning opaque and showing nice grill marks then flip them over and close the lid.
After another 3 minutes check on them again.
If they're relatively firm to the touch and browning well with an orange tinge then they're done and ready to remove.
Serve immediately.
Enjoy!
