The flavors in this marinated pork tenderloin recipe are actually a blend of Thai and Satay.
And the marinade not only flavors the kebabs but helps keep them moist and juicy while they cook.
The marinade encapsulates the pork kebabs with butter and since the tenderloin is marinated and kept in the refrigerator almost up to cooking time the butter congeals around the meat.
As the butter in the marinade heats up on the grill it begins to melt and naturally "bastes" the tenderloin kebabs as they cook keeping them really juicy and full of flavor.
The flavor is slightly Asian and Thai with a hint of Satay so these are perfect served with the Thai marinated grilled shrimp skewers.

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Direct Heat: 500F - 525F
Note: marinate at least 4 hours so the butter congeals on the tenderloin kebabs
What you'll need:
For the marinade:
Step 1:
In a medium glass bowl mix all the marinade ingredients except the melted butter.
Once the ingredients are well mixed then pour in the butter.
Blend the marinade ingredients really well with the butter, you shouldn't see any separation.
Step 2:
Cut the pork tenderloin into 1 1/2" cubes.
Place the meat and marinade in a resealable plastic bag and refrigerate for 4 hours.
Step 3:
As the tenderloin is marinating cut up 1 red onion into approximately 1 1/2 " pieces.
Cut up 1 green pepper into the same size pieces.
Set aside until ready to thread on the skewers.
After 4 hours remove the bag of marinated pork from the refrigerator and let rest at room temperature about 1/2 an hour.
Step 4:
Clean and oil the grates and preheat the grill to 500F.
Thread a piece of marinated pork on a skewer followed by a piece of red onion and green pepper.
Alternate this pattern until the skewer is full but leave at least 1" of skewer exposed at each end for handling.
Complete this with the rest of the marinated tenderloin cubes and vegetables.
Place on the heated grill and close the lid.
Every 5 minutes flip the kebabs so all sides are evenly grilled.
When an instant read thermometer inserted into the meat reads between 155F to 160F remove the pork tenderloin kebabs from the grill and serve immediately.
Enjoy!
