Here's one of the best copycat recipes I've tried for Old Bay Seasoning and it uses ingredients you likely already have in your kitchen or that you can easily get from your supermarket.
Old Bay seasoning was named after the Old Bay Line passenger steam ship from the 1900's that travelled from Baltimore to Virgina and was developed to season the crabs caught in the Chesapeake Bay area in Maryland.
This Old Bay spice blend is a necessary ingredient in any really good Crab Cakes recipe like this one. It's also great on shrimp, corn on the cob and chicken.
